Bound Brook, NJ - Join the Borough of Bound Brook and the Bound Brook Revitalization Partnership on a fun and informative walking tour and pub stroll through downtown Bound Brook during the Battle of Bound Brook Living History Weekend. The tour will be led by local leaders and provide attendees with stories about Bound Brook's colorful history as the oldest town in Somerset County, and information will be shared about what new things are happening in Bound Brook.

“We have continued to have strong interest in this event each year, as people like to find out more about the significance New Jersey played during the Revolutionary War,” said Borough Administrator Jasmine McCoy. “During Living History weekend, visitors are welcome to watch the reenactments and then participate in our historical walking tour around the downtown where attendees discover even more details about Bound Brook’s very unique role in our American history.”

Interesting information about Bound Brook's past and present will be shared on the walk through downtown and stops will be made along the way at participating locations for food and drinks. Restaurant partners will provide free samplings of food.

There will be a complimentary beer provided at the event venue stop.  All other desired beverages are for purchase by attendees at each bar.

The event is hosted by the Borough of Bound Brook and the Bound Brook Revitalization Partnership, with support from Gateway Affairs. This program is made possible by funds from the Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Commission, a partner of the New Jersey Historical Commission.

Registration is required via Eventbrite. Available tickets are limited. Must be 21 to participate. The event will take place rain or shine.
