RARITAN TWP., N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Mayor Bob King and Raritan Township Chief of Police Al Payne announced the promotion of two officers during a Raritan Township Committee meeting, Jul. 14.

Following the passage of their respective resolutions and being sworn in, Corporal Geoffrey Benz was promoted to the rank of sergeant, and Officer Ryan Barry was promoted to corporal.

Both Sergeant Benz and Corporal Barry have been members of the Raritan Township Police Department for almost 12 years.
