A Willingboro, NJ resident reported their vehicle stolen from a hotel parking lot located on Worlds Fair Dr. during the overnight hours. The value of the vehicle was estimated to be $21,000.00. The suspect(s) is unknown.

07/18/2022

A stolen vehicle from an outside jurisdiction was recovered by patrol at a hotel located on Davidson Ave. The vehicle was unoccupied when discovered.

Terrance K. Macon, 41, of New Brunswick, NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of North Brunswick, NJ during a motor vehicle stop. He was transported to North Brunswick PD for processing. NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

07/19/2022

A Somerset, NJ resident reported a suspicious person on his property during the early morning hours. The suspect, described as a light-skinned male, was observed walking near the porch of the reporting person's residence on Elizabeth Ave. The male left the property without further incident.

07/20/2022

A Somerset, NJ resident reported a burglary to three of his unlocked vehicles located on Marion Ave. during the overnight hours. The unknown suspect(s) stole loose change from each vehicle.

A New Brunswick, NJ resident reported his vehicle stolen from South Dover Ave. The theft occurred overnight by an unknown suspect(s). The vehicle was valued at $15,000.00. It was later recovered, unoccupied, in a nearby jurisdiction.

A Woodbridge, VA resident reported the theft of her license plates. The two plates were removed from her parked vehicle in the area of Hempstead Dr. by an unknown suspect(s) overnight.

A Somerset, NJ resident reported the theft of her package delivered to a mail room near Barron Circle. The contents of the package were valued at $375.00. The suspect(s) is unknown.

A Somerset, NJ business located on Hamilton St. reported a shoplifting of allergy related products during the early afternoon hours. The black male suspect walked out without paying for $872.00 worth of merchandise and fled the area prior to police arrival.

07/22/2022

A business located on Easton Ave. reported the theft of gasoline by two black male suspects during the overnight hours. The suspects fled the area at a high rate of speed after paying the attendant $15.00 toward $65.00 worth of gas.

Heather L. Aszman, 31, of Somerset, NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Trenton, NJ during a motor vehicle stop. She was processed and released on her own recognizance. NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

A business located on Somerset St. reported a shoplifting during the evening hours by two black males and one black female. The merchandise totaled $69.00. The suspects fled the store prior to police arrival.

A Somerset, NJ resident reported the theft of two packages from his porch located on Summerall Rd. The theft occurred on 07/15/2022. The contents were valued at $530.00. The suspect(s) is unknown.

A Somerset, NJ resident reported a burglary to his unlocked vehicle on Berkley Pl. during the overnight hours. It appeared that the unknown suspect(s) did not take anything, however, the vehicle was ransacked.

A catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle while parked at a business on Somerset St. The unknown suspect(s) committed the act between 07/21/2022 and 07/23/2022. The auto part was valued at $600.00.

A Somerset, NJ resident reported a burglary to his unlocked vehicle while parked overnight at his residence located on Hamilton St. The unknown suspect(s) took approximately $700.00 cash and $1000.00 worth of medication from the vehicle.

A fire was reported on Victor St. during the afternoon hours. Area fire companies responded and extinguished the blaze. Three residences were damaged. One of the three was deemed uninhabitable. No one was injured. The cause is unknown.

Francisco J. Rodriguez, 56, of Somerset, NJ was arrested for DWI following a motor vehicle crash investigation. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
