Somerset County 4-H Fair Offers Interesting Entertainment, Activities and Exhibits
BRIDGEWATER, NJ – The Somerset County 4-H Fair is offering interesting exhibits, activities, and entertainment throughout the fair on Aug. 10 to 12, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., in North Branch Park, located on 355 Milltown Road, in Bridgewater Township.
In the County Government Tent, History Educator and Reenactor Noah Lewis will portray Revolutionary War Hero Ned Hector who was noted for his courage and was also one of the few African American soldiers who served in a regiment during that time. Other attractions include hands-on demonstrations, such as butter making and button making and. K-9 Unit exhibits will also be located next to the County Government Tent.
In various tents throughout the 4-H Fair there will be, “Turtle Races,” an “Earth Science Extravaganza,” live entertainment at the Showmobile, “Rabbit Tunnel Races,” robotics displays, go-kart races, magic shows and much more.
