Tanisha Saxena (Hillsborough) enjoyed the experience of a lifetime as she was selected to attend the 2023 NHL All-Star Game in Florida.

A highlight of the trip was the opportunity to meet New Jersey Devils All-Star, Jack Hughes. Learn to Play (LTP) is a program that provides a unique opportunity for families to join the hockey community and for participants to develop fundamental skills to help them succeed both on and off the ice.

The program introduces first-time ice hockey participants between the ages of 5-9 to the key fundamentals of our game in a fun and engaging environment.

Tanisha started playing hockey in the Flemington LTP 8-week program in the fall of 2022 and immediately fell in love with hockey. She just turned 9 years old and has moved from LTP to Flemington’s in-house program, with hopes of progressing to a travel program in the spring. RWJBarnabas Health is the Official Healthcare of the New Jersey Devils.

Stay tuned for an upcoming Facebook Live Interview to hear more of her story.
