SOMERVILLE, NJ – Somerset County-operated Montgomery Senior Center will host the GriefShare program to help heal grief and restore hope. GriefShare is a topic-based support group occurring on March 14, 21 and 28, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The program will continue after March 28 if there is sufficient attendance. Preregistration is required.

In the GriefShare program, participants will share their grief in a warm and caring environment as they travel through their journey with others experiencing similar feelings. Facilitator Pastor Chris Heitkamp will lead the group, along with people who have successfully rebuilt their lives after experiencing the grieving process.

Attendees can share their feelings on the following topics: “Is this normal?” “The Challenge of Grief,” “The Journey of Grief: Part One,” “The Journey of Grief: Part Two,” “Grief and Your Relationships,” “Why?,” “Guilt and Anger,” “Complicating Factors,” “Stuck,” “Lessons of Grief: Part one,” “Lessons of Grief: Part Two,” “Heaven,” and “What Do I Live for Now?”
