Bound Brook Recreation Wrestling Team Wins Big for Another Season

Congratulations on another successful season for our Bound Brook Recreation Wrestling program! All of our squads finished up strong participating in tournaments throughout the month of February. Our K-2 clinic wrestlers competed in the Metuchen Novice Tournament using all the new skills and techniques that they’ve learned over the season. Fun was had by all and everyone brought home medals to start what will be a great collection over the years. The Raritan Valley Wrestling League’s B Tournament was held here in Bound Brook. Like always, it was a fantastic day of wrestling. Bringing home hardware was:
4th place 63lbs Emiliano S.,3rd place 53lbs Sebastian A.,3rd place 120lbs Liam A.,2nd place 120lbs Axel M.,2nd place 135lbs Chadwick G.,1st place 85lbs Miles B.

1st place 90lbs Nevay H. The RVWL’s A Tournament rounded out the season last weekend at Voorhees High School. To say coaches were proud of all the participants is a giant understatement. Congratulations to the place winners! 4th place 50lbs Denver K.,3rd place 85lbs Conor B.,2nd place 70lbs David J.,2nd place 77lbs Mateo G. And back to back year champs …1st place 120lbs Izaiah H.,1st place HWT Chris D. Thank you, coaches, parents, and families for a great winter!
