Girls in Gear is coming to Bernardsville! Girls in Gear is a volunteer-led, nonprofit program that uses biking as a platform for social-emotional wellness for girls ages 5+. Starting this month, they’ll be hosting a Life Skills through Bike Skills class.
These classes will be 90-minute sessions designed through age-appropriate lessons for riders ages 5+, focusing on a mix of emotional development, bike maintenance, safety, and riding skills. All riding abilities are welcome to join. Scholarships, bikes, and helmets are available for anyone in need of financial assistance.
Classes will be on Sundays, starting April 23, at the Bernardsville Municipal Pool. Ages 5-7 from 9-10:30 am, and ages 8-10 from 10:45am-12:15pm. For more information and to register, visit Girls in Gear’s website.
