Somerset County Police Academy Personal Safety Seminar for High School Students

The Somerset County Police Academy is bringing back the Personal Safety Seminar for High School Students on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Somerset County Emergency Services Training Academy located at 402 Roycefield Road, Hillsborough, NJ 08844.The program provides safety tips and a lesson in self-defense. 

Topics discussed in this hands-on training will include how to prevent becoming a victim, types of assaults, types of predators, situational awareness, threat identification, and the physical confrontation itself.The program is open to Somerset County high school students (30 students max) and there is no fee.
