The Somerset County 4-H Association Celebrates Its 50th Anniversary this June
In 2024, the 4-H volunteers and members who were present at the dedication of the 4-H Center on June 9, 1974, will reconnect.
An event themed "A Walk Down Memory Lane" will take place at 1 p.m. to honor those who helped establish the Ted Blum 4-H Center of Somerset County. Attendees will participate in a photo opportunity while creating a human clover show from an aerial view. The 4-H Center holds a special place in the hearts of volunteers and members, as it has served as a hub for community engagement, education, and personal growth for five decades. It has provided countless opportunities for youth development, leadership, and the cultivation of important life skills. This event not only celebrates the center's establishment but also recognizes the enduring impact it has had on the lives of countless individuals.
Sunday, June 9, 2024
