From the RiseWise Press Release:Who We Are - Ridewise
Congratulations Kennedy Price on winning the Cyclist category in our Safety Video Contest! Kennedy's video on the ABC Quick Check was creative, fun, and packed with important information on how to make sure your bike is ready and safe to ride. Kennedy, a 9th grader at Franklin High School, is an aspiring filmmaker, and her talent shines in this video!
"I first heard about the contest from my Girl Scout troop leader. She knew that I was interested in doing filmmaking as a career and it’s something that I want to do beyond high school and college. My mom told me [about the contest] too," said Kennedy. "What I learned from doing the ABC quick check is a lot of the parts of the bike. I didn’t know how intricate it was. And I also kind of learned that you should be checking different parts of the bike regularly."
High school students from all over Somerset County created videos highlighting safety tips in three categories: drivers, pedestrians and cyclists, to encourage their peers to be safe this summer. Stay tuned to see our other winners! https://youtu.be/HYIxDsTTsyM .
