Dance for the Cure Celebrates 25 Years with the 18th Annual "Ribbons of Hope" Fundraiser
Hillsborough, NJ – Dance for the Cure, a 100% volunteer-run organization committed to supporting breast cancer patients in financial need, is proud to announce its 18th annual Ribbons of Hope fundraiser, coinciding with the organization’s milestone 25th anniversary. The event will take place on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM at the Bridgewater Marriott, located at 700 Commons Way, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
As Dance for the Cure marks a quarter-century of service to the community, this year's Ribbons of Hope promises to be an exceptional evening featuring a sit-down dinner, cash bar, and a highly anticipated basket raffle. The evening's schedule includes basket browsing starting at 6:30 PM, followed by a welcome address at 7:00 PM, dinner at 7:30 PM, and the announcement of prize winners at 8:45 PM.
All funds raised during Ribbons of Hope will support local families in Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, and Somerset counties who are facing financial challenges due to a breast cancer diagnosis. Over the past 25 years, Dance for the Cure has disbursed more than $1 million to those in need, making a tangible difference in the lives of countless individuals.
“Celebrating 25 years of Dance for the Cure and hosting our 18th annual Ribbons of Hope is a significant milestone for us,” says Joanne Liscovitz, event chairperson and co-founder. Co-founder Kathleen Cirioli, agrees, adding, “Our mission remains as vital today as it was when we began, and we are deeply committed to continuing our support for breast cancer patients in our community.”
