The Raritan Pantry Needs More Donations for Neighbors

Image

There is a critical shortage of ALL non-perishable items in the pantry. As of this evening, the store served 59 families, a number that has consistently grown over time and doesn't appear to be decreasing any time soon. If the shortage continues, many families will struggle to meet their basic needs, leading to increased food insecurity.

Tuesday and Friday evenings 6pm-8pm are the hours to drop off donations at the pantry.

  • canned soups and stews
  • canned veggies-
  • pasta and sauce
  • canned or dry beans
  • cereal or pancake mix
  • white rice- canned pasta dinners like spaghetti-o’s or ravioli- canned or jarred fruit such as peaches, pears, or applesauce

Kellyann Gallagher, President -If you have a business interested in doing a food drive, please feel free to contact us at raritanfoodpantry@gmail.com and we can coordinate an alternate drop-off time if needed.
