Leaf Clean-Up Available for Senior Citizens, Disabled Homeowners
SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ – Elderly and disabled homeowners can now register for help with raking leaves through the Fall Leaf Clean-Up Project!
The one-day event, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 23, will have volunteers working to provide free leaf clean-up for senior citizens and disabled homeowners.
The Somerset County Office of Volunteer Services has teams of families, local companies, service clubs, Boy Scout & Girl Scout Troops, 4-H Clubs, YMCAs, and church groups assembled and ready to rake leaves for Somerset County residents who are unable to perform any yardwork.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Fall Clean-Up Project, the following must apply:
- Homeowners must not already have a landscaping service.
- The property must be in Somerset County, and be a quarter an acre or less.
- Volunteers cannot clear larger properties.
- Homeowners must provide leaf bags if required by the municipality.
- Volunteers will not transport leaves to a municipal collection site.
