During the event, faculty, staff, and current students will be available to answer questions, give tours, and provide information on each of the eighteen Career and Technical Education (CTE) Programs available at SCVTHS. In addition, information on four new programs planned for the 2025-2026 school year – Biomedical, Finance, HVACR, and Transportation/Logistics (Supply Chain) – will be available.

In addition to information on career and academic offerings, visitors will be able to tour classroom and CTE shops, attend program-specific demonstrations, sample hors d'oeuvres prepared and served by Culinary Arts students, and stop by the SkillsUSA bake sale to pick up some treats to support this student organization. Guests will also be able to meet with the advisors of SCVTHS sports teams, extracurricular activities, and clubs.

SCVTHS Student Ambassadors will assume a large role in the day’s activities. This group of student volunteers regularly visit Somerset County middle schools to talk about their CTE programs and to answer questions from future classmates. During the Open House, they will lead tours and will provide insight into their experience as part of the SCVTHS community.

Guests will also be able to view the progress being made on the construction of two new buildings on campus. The CTE building will include classrooms and learning labs that will allow for the expansion of existing programs and the creation of new, in-demand programs in the district. The second new building is an auxiliary gym that is being built to provide additional space for physical education classes and sporting events.
