Borough of Raritan - Leaf Blowing Guidelines

Leaf vacuuming should begin mid-to late-October and the start of this service is based on the amount of fallen leaves. Residents can place leaves loose curbside once this service begins; however, leaves must be kept 𝐚𝐭 π₯𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐑 π›πšπ¬π’π§.Β 

Loose leaves must be free of any other yard waste (garden debris, branches, etc.). The service of leaf vacuuming is done in each section of town at least once per week and is dependent on volume and will continue to about mid-December, weather permitting.Β 

If the weather becomes inclement, please contact the Department of Public Works for the status of the leaf pick-up service.
