Borough of Raritan Schedules Special Council Meeting and Announces New Mayor

The Borough of Raritan will hold a special council meeting on Tuesday, January 13 at 7:00 PM, where one of the key items under new business will be the adoption of the 2026 Rules of Order. This document outlines the roles, responsibilities, and limitations of council members and serves as a guiding framework for how the governing body conducts its work throughout the year. At the borough’s reorganization meeting, the Council selected Don Tozzi, who served as Council President in 2024, to become Raritan’s 13th Mayor. Former Councilman Nick Carra recently announced publicly that he was stepping down from his position with the Borough of Raritan.
