Somerset County History on the Green is July 18th and Open to the Public

Step back into Revolutionary‑era New Jersey at Somerset County’s free family‑friendly living history event, History on the Green. Celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary and explore Somerset County’s rich local heritage through a full day of immersive activities and performances on the Historic Courthouse Green in Somerville.

Visitors can explore a pop‑up encampment and meet Revolutionary War soldiers, greet George and Martha Washington (and grab their autographs), watch early‑American artisans at work, and experience live cannon and musket demonstrations.
