Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity Marks 35 Years with “Building Hope” Gala

PLUCKEMIN, N.J. — Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity will celebrate 35 years of building homes, communities, and hope at its annual “Building Hope” gala on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Stone House at Stirling Ridge in Warren. Since 1991, the organization has helped local families achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance that come with a decent place to live, and this milestone evening will fuel the year ahead.

“For 35 years, our community has come together to open doors for our neighbors,” said Jeff Cromie, Resource Development Manager for Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity. “Every ticket and every sponsorship translates directly into homes built, repairs completed, and families given a foundation to build better lives. This celebration is really a thank-you to everyone who has made that possible.”

Guests will enjoy an open bar and cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, a gourmet sit-down dinner, and an evening of music and dancing with Spinners Entertainment. The mission themed celebration also features a silent auction, tricky tray, 50/50 raffle, a photo booth, and more.

Raritan Valley Habitat believes that every person deserves a decent place to live. Proceeds directly support an ambitious year ahead across Somerset and Hunterdon Counties. In Franklin Township, the renovation of a Habitat home on Girard Avenue for a new family is already underway, and three new home builds are on the horizon, with construction on Main Street and Kossuth Street beginning in late 2026 and Churchill Avenue to follow in 2027. Additional plans include new construction in Lambertville, more than 60 home repairs for vulnerable neighbors, seniors, and veterans, at least 10 Neighborhood Revitalization projects, and financial education through the Almost Home program.
