Hunterdon Community Farmers Market Celebrates Peak Tomato Season with NOFA-NJ Tomato Tasting on August 30

FLEMINGTON, NJ – August 25, 2026 – Summer tomato season is in full swing, and the Hunterdon

Community Farmers Market (HCFM) is celebrating with a special Tomato Tasting with NOFA-NJ on Sunday, August 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at historic Dvoor Farm, 111 Mine Street in Flemington.

The event brings together everything the market loves most: great local food, the farmers who grow it, live music and a community that appreciates knowing where its food comes from.

Visitors will have the opportunity to take part in a special tomato tasting with the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Jersey (NOFA-NJ) and experience the incredible variety of flavors, colors and shapes that make New Jersey tomato season worth celebrating.

The morning will also feature live music by The Ullars, along with HCFM's regular lineup of local farms,food producers, artisans and makers. The Tomato Tasting is part of HCFM's expanded calendar of special market Sundays designed to give the community even more reasons to gather at Dvoor Farm throughout the season.

Now in its second season as an independent nonprofit organization, Hunterdon Community Farmers Market continues an 18-year farmers market tradition at Dvoor Farm while building on a mission to support local growers and makers, strengthen the regional food system, educate the community about sustainable agriculture, and make fresh local food more accessible.
