Bridgewater Commons will ring in Lunar New Year treating visitors to the awe and magic of a traditional lion dance in which performers imitate the animal’s movements to offer good luck and fortune. Taking place Sunday, Feb. 6 at 1pm and 4pm, Fong’s Hung Ga Kung Fu Association will be on hand to treat visitors to a colorful and lively performance in celebration of the Year of the Tiger. What’s more, lucky audience members will also receive red envelopes, a customary gifting ritual known as Lai See, containing special offers from the center’s retailers and restaurants (while supplies last). The free, family-friendly performances will be followed by the chance to take photos with the lions themselves! WHERE: Center Court (Lower Level near Pottery Barn) WHEN: Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, 1pm and 4pm |
