ICYMI: From the Bridgewater Police Blotter

Bridgewater, NJ - On Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 06:08 pm, the Bridgewater Township Police Department responded to a serious motor vehicle crash involving a pedalcyclist at the intersection of Fulton St. and 3rd St.

Maria A Toribio (age 22) of Bridgewater, NJ, was operating a 2021 GMC Sierra pickup truck and was traveling north on Fulton St. when she struck a female juvenile pedalcyclist in the intersection of Fulton St. and 3rd St. The victim was transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital Somerset where she was pronounced deceased.

This crash is still under investigation by the Bridgewater Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Bureau and the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office.
