Police Blotter:

On March 20th, 2022 at 1:35 a.m., Andrew Les, 18, of New Hope, PA, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Route 206. Les was observed traveling North in the southbound lanes of Route 206 by a patrol officer. Les was issued numerous motor vehicle summonses and released pending a court appearance.

On March 20th, 2022, Jazmine Holloway, 24, of Middletown, was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking as a result of her borrowing a car from an acquaintance and not returning it for several months. The vehicle was later recovered in the City of Newark. Holloway has scheduled court appearance pending. 

On March 21st, 2022 Michael Herring, 49, of Port Murray, was charged with Fraudulently Obtaining Prescription Drugs and Fictitious Identity to Obtain Services following an investigation by the Raritan Borough Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division. 

The incidents took place at the Atlantic Medical Group between April 2021 and July 2021. Herring was released pending a court appearance.

On April 2nd, 2022 at 1:55 am, a Raritan Patrol Officer was conducting a property check at the Quick Chek on the Somerville Traffic Circle when he observed a person slumped over the driver seat of a Nissan Altima. After several minutes, the officer was able to awaken the driver of the vehicle, Tamecka Williams, 45, of Somerville. 

An investigation by the officer determined that Williams had been operating her vehicle while impaired. Williams was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and released pending a court appearance. On April 3rd, 2022 at 2:40 a.m., Yerelisa Cruz-Desantana, 26, of Piscataway, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on East Somerset Street. Cruz-Desantana was released pending a court appearance. 

During this same time period, five additional people were arrested for Domestic Violence Offenses and investigations being conducted with the assistance of the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office.
