New Virtual Family Activities to Celebrate Springtime at the White House

As the White House Easter Egg roll reopens, the White House Historical Association is offering new resources and virtual activities to help American families everywhere be part of the springtime tradition. The fun, educational games and activities can be completed online with a chance to win a set of the now sold out Official 2022 White House Easter Eggs!

“We’re pleased to help every American family be part of the Easter Egg Roll, with virtual resources that are fun, educational and a great way to connect to White House history,” said Stewart McLaurin, President of the White House Historical Association.

The games and activities include:

The Virtual White House Springtime scavenger hunt using 360-degree virtual tour of the White House includes fun facts about the history of the Easter Egg Roll, the White House, and the people and pets who have lived in the Executive Mansion. Using the 360-degree virtual tour of the White House, this interactive egg hunt will challenge players to find ten “fun facts” about the history of the Easter Egg Roll and other springtime traditions placed throughout the Executive Mansion. A “fill in the blank” educational worksheet can be completed when all the “fun facts” are located. Completed worksheets can be submitted for a chance to win a set of Official 2022 White House Easter Eggs.

Egg Roll Bingo includes a printable bingo card that incorporates the Association’s educational resources and features other springtime activities.

Printable Coloring Page features a 2018 image of costumed eggs from the 2018 White House Easter Egg Roll.

Design Your Own Commemorative White House Easter Egg Roll Set allows you to design your own version of the commemorative Official White House Easter Eggs using a template.

Springtime Reading List includes topics such as the White House Easter Egg Roll, gardening, and spending time outdoors.

Easter Egg Roll Digital Puzzle uses a 1966 image from the White House Egg Roll in which children hunt for eggs on the South Lawn.

History of the White House Easter Egg Roll includes articles/images about the first Egg Rolls and the evolution of this historic event.
