Dedicated to the communities it serves, QuickChek has donated $1,000 to the Readington Tewksbury Junior Baseball League as part of the grand opening celebration of the fresh convenience market chain’s newest store in the township.

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ -The fresh convenience market chain celebrates the opening of every one of its new stores by donating a portion of its sales of every sub, sandwich, and wrap sold during the store’s first 30 days of operation. QuickChek opened its Readington Township store on February 1.

Its commitment to giving back is one of the many reasons QuickChek was named the National Convenience Store Chain of the Year and is a vibrant part of its local communities.

QuickChek District Leader Annette DiPierro and Community Involvement Coordinator Heather Stillman made the presentation on May 2 in the new store located at 3483 Route 22 East at the intersection of County Line Road, the company’s first-ever store in its hometown.

“Our new Readington Township store enables us to meet the demand for safe, convenient one-stop shopping and fuel service in the area,” said QuickChek Vice President of Marketing & Operations Don Leech. “It also serves as the base for us to honor our community partners as we continue our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve.”

“We’re thrilled to continue to be a longtime supporter of Readington Tewksbury Junior Baseball as well as more than 160 youth groups and sports teams where we have store locations.”

The donation will help the league maintain the high quality of its playing fields and the overall program. The non-profit league is run by volunteers and offers eight levels of play for children from pre-school through age 15.

QuickChek, which is headquartered in the Whitehouse Station section of the township, raised $61,000 for community groups last year and has raised just under $1 million for local community causes since 2009.

The new Readington Township store is open 24 hours a day, enabling consumers to create delicious made-to-order breakfast items, oven-toasted fresh QuickChek subs, wraps, salads, and more. Consumers can also personalize hot, cold, and frozen beverages exactly as they want them, or select freshly prepared ready-to-go items, any time of day or night.

The new store’s positive impact on the local economy includes the creation of 35 new local jobs including eight management positions, and approximately $1 million in tax revenues.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Murphy USA, QuickChek lets you choose your convenience, whether you shop in-store; mobile order through the QuickChek Rewards app; get delivery through DoorDash, Grubhub or Uber Eats; or order on-the-go, whether you order from your home or from your phone.
