Franklin Township Police Bring Back “Touch a Truck” for Local Families

Franklin Township families will have a fun reason to get outside on Saturday, October 3, when the Franklin Township Police Department hosts its annual Touch a Truck event at Franklin Middle School’s Hamilton Street Campus. From 12:00 to 2:00 PM, kids can explore the trucks, vehicles, and equipment that keep the community running — a hands‑on chance to climb, look, and learn.

The afternoon will also feature face painting, food and ice cream trucks, local vendors, and plenty of opportunities for families to connect with neighbors. It’s one of those simple community traditions that brings out smiles across generations.

Residents are encouraged to bring a non‑perishable food donation to support the Franklin Food Bank, adding a meaningful way to give back while enjoying the day.
