Franklin Township Police Honor Guard Participates in 60th Annual African American Heritage Day Parade

Last Sunday, the Franklin Township Police Honor Guard traveled to Newark to take part in the 60th Annual African American Heritage Day Parade. This longstanding event celebrates African American history, culture, and heritage, honoring the generations whose contributions have shaped communities across New Jersey and beyond.

The parade brings together organizations, civic leaders, performers, and residents in recognition of the legacy, resilience, and cultural impact of African Americans. FTPD was proud to stand alongside participants who continue to preserve and uplift that legacy.
