Villagers Theatre - Somerset Accepting Submissions for Directors for the 2026-2027 Season

Villagers Theatre is officially accepting submissions for our 2026–2027 Season, and we’re thrilled to shape a year built around bold ideas and inspiring storytelling.This season, we’re focusing on vision, innovation, and impact — creating space for directors to dream big, think creatively, and bring meaningful work to our stages. We’re looking for artists who want to challenge, inspire, and connect with our community in fresh, exciting ways.Whether you imagine MainStage spectacle, BlackBox intimacy, or something entirely your own, we want to hear from you. Directors of all backgrounds, perspectives, and experience levels are encouraged to submit.

What to submit:• Your proposed titles + authors• If you’re new to Villagers: a résumé (or a list of shows you have directed) + one referenceSelected directors will be invited to meet with our Production Selection Committee to explore your concepts, vision, and collaborative approach.***Please note! If you are a Music Director/Choreographer/Costumer/Set Designer etc..and aren’t necessarily attached to a team, please email us as we always have directors looking for new additions!
