History Buffs: Ubuntu Cultural Pavilion, Inc. Provides a Historic of Somerville Locations

UCP "Roots and Wings Walking Tour" will take place on Saturday, August 3 at 11:00 AM. The tour is priced at $8.50 per person for ages 13 and up, and $5.00 for children ages 5 to 12, which includes water and a snack. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Join us for a 1.5-mile walking tour on the north side of Somerville, designed for families, friends, and groups. This leisurely-paced tour lasts approximately 45 minutes, is not strenuous, and is suitable for almost everyone. The tour will explore Somerville’s rich history of the pre-Civil War African American community through the early 1900s. 

The tour begins at the Somerville Middle School -51 W. Cliff Street at the main entrance.
