Celebrating Local Talent: Warren Middle School’s Wendy Castillo Shines

Congratulations to Warren Middle School student Wendy Castillo, whose artwork and message of peace captured top honors in this year’s Warren Lions Club 2025–2026 Lions Peace Poster Contest. Wendy earned 1st Place at the local level and went on to secure 2nd Place in District 16J, a remarkable achievement that highlights both her artistic skill and her thoughtful vision of unity.

At the recognition event, Wendy was joined by Deputy Mayor Kian, her mother, and Kevin Helewa of the Lions Club—a moment that beautifully reflected her family's, school's, and community's pride.

Garden State Neighbors celebrates her accomplishment and looks forward to seeing where her talent takes her next.
