Somerset County will be hosting the Powering Ahead Electric Vehicle (EV) Study public meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 6 p.m. This meeting will be held virtually. The 12-month EV study is funded by the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) Subregional Studies Program. The County’s goal is to develop a roadmap for converting County vehicles to electric power, identify and evaluate secondary EV charging corridors, and pinpoint public charging locations.
