Officer Tiana Ramos, Heroism Award at the 2024 New Jersey Women in Law Enforcement Conference

Tiana Ramos was nominated and awarded the Heroism Award at the 2024 New Jersey Women in Law Enforcement Conference.

A 14-year-old student fainted and then became unresponsive at Auten Road School on January 7, 2023, which prompted Officer Ramos to respond.

EMS was not available while responding units were en route. Within one minute of arriving on the scene, Officer Ramos began performing CPR on the child. Upon arriving on the scene, Hillsborough officers continued life-saving efforts.

A quick lifesaving action by Officer Ramos led to the child's full recovery.
