UNIT CITATION - GRADE 1. For actions that placed themselves in harms way for the successful rescue of a victim trapped in a car in moving water on Amwell Rd in 2023. These members operated our new high water truck for its first rescue operation in flood water, this was also the first rescue mission of this type they’d executed outside of previous training. -Lieutenant Zach Larson-Firefighter Logan Teeple -Firefighter Ameer Abugosh-Firefighter Kevin Danberry (HFD)

Additionally, for their oversight and guidance of the operation, the following members were recognized -Chief Tyler Riordan-Deputy Chief Michael Guzy-Deputy Chief Ryan Giordano (HFD)UNIT CITATION - GRADE 1 The members listed below are recognized for their actions rescuing several hikers who have been injured when a swarm of bees attacked them on an unreasonably hot day in 2023 on the Sourland Mountain.
