Township of Hillsborough - Master Plan Update

Hillsborough is in the process of updating its Master Plan. The Master Plan creates a “roadmap” for the Township to create a vibrant and thriving community, and includes elements such as transportation, land use, farmland, open space, and more. We have already released two surveys in an effort to collect feedback on the Goals of the Master Plan and the Land Use Element.Our next survey is now live! This survey focuses on Open Space, including the identification of present land (both private and public) designated as open space, the determination of land that can be designated as open space for future acquisitions, and the development of a plan to protect present and future open space. The survey is available on our Engage Hillsborough platform at www.engagehillsboroughnj.org in multiple languages.
