Honoring the Volunteers Who Keep Montgomery Safe in Somerset County, NJ

Image

This past Saturday, Mayor Neena Singh had the honor of swearing in the newly appointed officers of Volunteer Fire Company #2 in Blawenburg, marking an important moment for one of the community’s most dedicated all‑volunteer organizations.

Congratulations to Kyle Rendall, who will serve as Chief; Adam Verducci, stepping into the role of Deputy Chief; and Justin Kabis, who will lead as President of Fire Co. #2 for 2026.

Their commitment reflects the spirit that defines Montgomery’s volunteer emergency services. Fire Co. #2, together with Fire Co. #1 in Belle Mead and Montgomery EMS, represents a network of neighbors who choose—day after day—to protect and serve without expectation of recognition. Their readiness, courage, and countless hours of training form the backbone of our community’s safety.
