ICYMI# This Week Raritan Borough Fire Department at Somerville Circle

On November 10th at approximately 11:30am The Raritan Fire Department was dispatched for a garbage truck on fire in the area of the Somerville Circle. FM16A arrived shortly after and confirmed a working fire to the rear of the cab. 

With this update Chief-52 requested Somerset County Communications add Somerville Fire for an Engine. Engine 52-1, 52-2 and 57-3 arrived within seconds of each-other and crews established a water supply and began knocking down the fire. 

The fire was extinguished at about the 10 minute mark and Somerset County Hazmat was requested for runoff containment. #truckfire #engine521
