Join the Somerset County 4-H Association this summer in celebrating 75 successful years of the beloved 4-H Fair, taking place from August 9th to 11th.

The Fair will run from 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. each day, offering three days of entertainment, food, and family fun for all ages. Dedicated members of the 4-H youth organization will host a diverse range of activities found in various tents at the North Branch Park fairgrounds in Bridgewater. Attendees can look forward to experiencing the pride of community engagement and enjoying the animal exhibits, science exhibits, and art displays created by talented 4-H members, as well as local vendors, offerings from other departments of the Somerset County Rutgers Cooperative Extension, and a variety of offerings from Somerset County.

The 4-H Fair made a triumphant return last year, after several years of being unable to host the event due to COVID-19. As one of the most anticipated events in Somerset County, the Fair has been a community staple for the past 75 years.

Beyond its members, the value of 4-H extends to the larger community. Through various community outreach projects and public events, 4-H contributes to youth development and education throughout Somerset County. The Fair serves as a showcase of the accomplishments of 4-H youth members, allowing them to take pride in their work and share their knowledge to the community. Furthermore, the event sees participation from numerous camps and local

organizations, extending 4-H’s reach beyond that of its members.

"The Fair's impact is astounding," says one community member. "We have been bringing our kids here for years, and every year it's an enjoyable experience for both children and adults

alike."

4-H is the largest nationwide youth development organization in America, offering resources to youth through engaging clubs & activities, volunteer opportunities, and informative workshops to create compassionate, responsible, and skilled citizens in the community and beyond.

The 4-H Association takes great pride in the accomplishments of its members throughout the year, and the Fair serves as an opportunity to showcase the time and energy invested in their

respective project areas.

Join the 4-H Association in honoring all past and present 4-H members during the fair, which will take place from August 9th to 11th, from 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. each day.
