Raritan Recreation Announces Basilone Splash Park Hours

RARITAN, NJ – What was once a small, sorely missed closed-down community pool has been re-imagined as a vibrant spray ground for Raritan families. The newly opened Basilone Splash Park is officially welcoming residents for the 2025 season, offering a colorful and refreshing spray ground experience for children and visitors of all ages.

Located at the site of the former Basilone Pool, the revamped space honors the park’s legacy while adapting to meet the modern needs of the community. The transformation came after years of limited use and increasing maintenance costs associated with the outdated pool structure.

2025 Splash Park Hours:
🌞 Open Daily: 9AM – 8 PM
📍 Location: Basilone Park, Raritan, NJ
💧 Free for Raritan Borough residents, be aware there is no Raritan Recreation supervision at this time.

The Recreation Department will also host occasional pop-up events and themed days throughout the summer, making it a go-to spot for seasonal fun.

Community members are invited to bring sunscreen, towels, and their sense of fun as they enjoy this brand-new addition to Raritan’s public spaces.
