BASKING RIDGE, NJ – Get into the holiday spirit and visit the 45th “Festival of Trees” from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1 to Thursday, Dec. 28, but closed for the holiday weekend on Dec. 22, 24 and 25. The Somerset County Park Commission will be hosting the display at the Environmental Education Center (EEC) at 190 Lord Stirling Road, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920.
The exhibit is a feast for the eyes, featuring multi-theme and multi-room tree exhibits with dazzling decorations. Live holiday music will be presented on weekends by both professional and amateur musicians. The whole family will enjoy this event.

There is a suggested donation of $5 per person. Refreshments will not be available. Groups of people should call ahead to schedule a visit.

About the Somerset County Park Commission
The Somerset County Park Commission stewards nearly 15,000 acres of county-owned open space, which is visited by two million park users each year. About the Environmental Education Center (EEC)
The EEC at Lord Stirling Park offers approximately nine miles of hiking trails, programs led by Naturalists, school field trips, fun festivals, nature-themed exhibits, facility and classroom rentals, a resource library, science and conservation research, and more. The EEC’s goal is to improve environmental literacy in Somerset County and beyond.
