From the The Meadows Foundation -The Historic Van Duyn-Van Wickle property was purchased by the Van Duyn family in 1703 and the oldest part of the current house was built in 1710 (the real Van Wickle House still stands on the Rutgers Prep School property). The house is slated for much-needed restoration by Franklin Township, but the house and grounds always look pretty in the snow. [photo credits: Shaun Daley].
