Office on Aging & Disability Services Seeking Community Organizations to Showcase Resources at Somerset County Aging Well Expo

SOMERVILLE, NJ – Somerset County’s Office on Aging & Disability Services is seeking community organizations to participate in the free Somerset County Aging Well Expo. Organizations that provide programs and services for the aging population are welcome to apply. 

The event will take place on Saturday, May 18 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Somerset County Bridgewater Senior Wellness Center, at 876 Main St., in Bridgewater. The deadline to apply is Monday, April 1.

The purpose of the event is to provide the aging population, their family, and caregivers with tools and resources to help them live their best lives. Organizations that would like to participate should provide health education, social services, social events, or cultural resources to the aging population. Organizations can display informational resources at a booth, or provide demonstrations, speakers, and health screenings.

Applications

Organizations must submit applications by April 1. To fill out an application online, click SC Aging Well Expo online application.

Donations

The Somerset County Aging Well Expo Committee is seeking donations for prize drawings and giveaways to be used at the expo. Organizations that would like to donate can contact Lisa De Los Santos at lsantos@co.somerset.nj.us, or call 908-704-6346.
