American Water Works Association New Jersey Section Hosts "Water is Life" Annual Conference in Atlantic City

RIDGEWOOD, NJ – March 13, 2024 – The New Jersey Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA NJ) will host this year’s Annual Conference, scheduled to take place March 19-21, 2024, at the Borgata Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City.

Celebrating 50 years of the Safe Drinking Water Act, the event will convene leading professionals, stakeholders, and experts in the water and wastewater industries, aiming to address pressing challenges, foster innovation, and promote collaboration.

"This event is a gathering of some of the brightest minds in the water and wastewater industries,” said AWWA NJ Section Chair Joseph Aldighieri from Passaic Valley Water Commission. “It's a transformative experience dedicated to shaping the future of water management in our communities,” added Aldighieri.

Dr. Mark LeChevallier, renowned expert in water treatment, will deliver the keynote address on "The Importance of Managing Legionella in Water Systems." With over 300 research papers and extensive experience, Dr. LeChevallier's insights promise to enlighten attendees on critical water management practices.
