Somerset County Encourages 4H Members to Sign Up for Presentations

The Somerset County 4-H program invites its members to participate in public presentations. Members have a chance to express themselves while practicing public speaking every year through this opportunity. In 4-H, members have the option of presenting in person or via Zoom live. The presenters receive feedback on their presentation. Somerset County 4-H (4histops.org)

Members of the Somerset County 4-H program can choose from a variety of presentation formats, including informative speeches, demonstrations, persuasive speeches, and interpretive readings. This allows them to showcase their skills and interests in different ways, while also gaining valuable experience in public speaking and communication. Participating in public presentations through the Somerset County 4-H program offers numerous benefits for personal growth. By engaging in public speaking, members develop confidence, improve their communication skills, and learn how to effectively convey their ideas to an audience.
