Raritan Food Pantry - Thanks the Community for their fast and generous support

"We are blown away by the love and generosity our pantry has received in the last 48 hours. We went from extremely empty shelves to receiving over 5,400 pounds of food (not including the amazing produce) and $2600 that will be used to help continue to restock these shelves.

We are grateful for every single one of you who emailed or stopped by yesterday and today, who donated food, money, future drives, and supporting words.

The need continues to grow in our community and this support and future drives are all so helpful and important.We’d also like to give a special shout out of thanks to The Food Bank Network of Somerset County for filling a truck and sharing over 3500 pounds of food with us, Grow a Row for 24 boxes of amazing produce, Jersey Drive Services whose donation set two of our board members loose in the grocery store, and to our AMAZING volunteers and lead Jessica who powered through all the donations tonight to get the store ready for our clients tomorrow (you were all champs tonight!)The art students who painted our mural picked the perfect quote: Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much."
