RVCC to Offer Adult Dance Performance Ensemble
Community Education at Raritan Valley Community College, in conjunction with the College’s Arts & Design department, is offering a Dance Ensemble program this fall. The Dance Ensemble will meet Fridays, September 5-December 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the College’s Branchburg campus.
Individuals (high school juniors and older) interested in joining the Dance Ensemble are welcome to audition on the first day of the program. Those selected to join the ensemble—based on their audition—will have the opportunity to work as part of a semi-professional touring dance company. Participants will learn a variety of dance works by faculty and guest artists and perform at local K-12 schools, senior centers, and assisted living centers.
The fee to participate is $50. Students must purchase their own dance shoes and some dance attire.
