Local Churches Unite for National Anti‑Trafficking Outreach on June 6

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, Evangel Chapel in Bridgewater will join churches across the country for a coordinated outreach effort aimed at raising awareness about missing and exploited children and the realities of human trafficking. The event is part of the CAN FREEDOM USA World Cup Area Outreaches, a nationwide initiative mobilizing volunteers in the 11 U.S. cities hosting the 2026 World Cup.

From 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, volunteers at Evangel Chapel will participate in a structured, hands‑on effort designed to bring critical information directly into the community. The outreach begins with a brief training session focused on human trafficking awareness and response, followed by the deployment of volunteer teams throughout the area. Participants will distribute missing children posters, national hotline information, and other awareness materials while engaging local businesses and professionals in conversation.

Organizers emphasize that this is not a standalone event, but part of a broader, multi‑agency effort already underway across the region. The goal is to equip everyday residents with the tools to recognize signs of exploitation and to strengthen community‑level awareness.
