Whether you’re trying to rent an affordable unit or looking for ways to strengthen your financial stability, CJHRC has two major opportunities available this summer.

 FREE Webinar: How to Rent an Affordable Unit

If you’re hoping to rent an affordable unit but aren’t sure where to begin, CJHRC is hosting a free webinar that walks you through the entire process. This session is ideal for first‑time applicants, families navigating income requirements, or anyone confused about the lottery system.

The webinar covers:

• How affordable housing applications work
• Income requirements
• Regional preference rules
• The lottery process
• Section 8 & SRAP vouchers
• Market‑rate options
• What documents you’ll need
• How to avoid common mistakes

 Savings Match Program: Earn Up to $900

CJHRC’s Savings Match Program helps residents reach financial goals by matching their savings 3:1. Participants choose a 4‑, 6‑, or 12‑month program and complete monthly counseling, budgeting, and savings activities.

Program options include:

• 4 months: Save $100 → Receive a $300 match
• 6 months: Save $150 → Receive a $450 match
• 12 months: Save $300 → Receive a $900 match

Funds can be used for:

• Debt payments
• Medical or dental bills
• Other essential financial needs
