Somerset County’s Human Services Building to be Temporarily Closed for Repairs July 24-29, 2026
(For Immediate Release – Somerset County, NJ): The Somerset County Human Services Building, located at 27 Warren Street in Somerville, will be closed Friday, July 24 through Wednesday, July 29, 2026, to accommodate building repairs.
During this temporary closure:
• All Human Services divisions and staff will remain available by telephone and email and will continue to provide services remotely. For general questions or to be redirected to specific divisions, residents can email HumanServices@somersetcountynj.gov or call (908) 704- 6300.
• The Health Department’s temporary location will be the Emergency Services Training Academy (ESTA) located at 402 Roycefield Rd in Hillsborough Township. Staff will remain available via email and phone while continuing normal operations. Residents can email healthdept@somersetcountynj.gov or call (908) 231-7155.
• Staff of the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board, also housed in the building, will be available by telephone, email, or via web at https://thegrwdb.org.
• The Weights and Measures division will remain available by telephone and email while continuing normal operations. Residents can email weightsandmeasures@somersetcountynj.gov or call (908) 231-7125.
