Lt. Governor Caldwell Addresses Students at Mid‑Atlantic Political Intern Summit

Students representing nearly 90 colleges and universities gathered yesterday for the Annual Mid‑Atlantic Political Intern Summit, hosted by Rowan University’s Institute for Public Policy & Citizenship. The event brought together attendees from across the political spectrum for a day of learning, networking, and civic engagement.

Lieutenant Governor Dr. Dale Caldwell delivered the keynote address, sharing his personal path to public service and the leadership lessons that have shaped his career. He encouraged students to remain civically engaged long after their internships end, emphasizing the importance of continued participation in public life.

The summit offered young people a chance to connect with peers, explore career pathways, and gain insight from leaders working across government and policy. It also highlighted Rowan University’s ongoing commitment to fostering informed, engaged citizens throughout New Jersey and the Mid‑Atlantic region.
