Bridgewater is about to travel back in time. On Sunday, October 25, from 10 AM to 5 PM, the Somerset County 4‑H Center at 310 Milltown Road will transform into a lively medieval village for the second annual 4‑H Medieval Jubilee — a family‑friendly fundraiser packed with entertainment, hands‑on activities, and old‑world charm.

Guests of all ages can expect a full day of fun and frolic, complete with interactive demonstrations, themed workshops, games, food, and a bustling artisan marketplace. Several enthusiastic 4‑H clubs will be on hand to showcase their creativity, and the Society for Creative Anachronism will once again join the festivities, bringing authentic medieval arts, demonstrations, and reenactments that add depth and delight to the experience.

The Jubilee promises something for everyone:

  • Artisans’ Market featuring handcrafted goods
  • Food vendors with medieval‑inspired treats
  • Demonstrations & workshops
  • Games and interactive activities
  • Silent auction
  • Costumes encouraged — from knights and nobles to jesters and fairies

The event is open to all ages, rain or shine. Admission is $10, and children 5 and under are free. All proceeds support the Somerset County 4‑H Association and its youth development programs.

Calling All Medieval Makers and Merchants

Organizers are seeking vendors and artists who specialize in medieval‑themed goods or crafts. Those interested in joining the marketplace can find the application at 4HisTOPS.org under Events. Vendor applications are due September 12.

Whether you arrive in full costume or simply ready for a day of adventure, the 4‑H Medieval Jubilee offers a charming escape into the past — right here in Bridgewater.
